A night crew leaves the building perfect at 11pm. By two in the afternoon the restroom is out of paper, there is coffee on the break room floor and the entry glass has forty handprints on it. A day porter is the answer to that: one person on site during business hours, keeping the building right while people are in it.
- Background-checked, insured crewsOur employees, not day labor. General liability and workers' comp on file.
- One named supervisorSomeone who knows your building, walks it monthly and answers the phone.
- A written scope, a fixed priceRoom by room, task by task. It does not change without your signature.
What a day porter does
- Restroom rounds on a schedule — restocked, wiped, checked, several times a day instead of once at night
- Entry and lobby kept presentable: glass, mats, floors, seating
- Break room and kitchen reset after the lunch rush
- Trash pulled from high-traffic stations before it overflows
- Conference rooms turned around between meetings
- Spills and messes handled when they happen, not the next morning
- Touchpoints disinfected through the day, which is the only time it does anything
- Whatever else is on your list: deliveries moved, supplies stocked, patio swept, event setup and breakdown

Who needs one
- Buildings with public traffic: medical practices, lobbies, showrooms, gyms
- Offices over about 75 people, where the break room cannot wait until night
- Class A properties where the entry has to look right at 3pm, not just at 7am
- Schools, churches and event venues on busy days
- Any building where the complaint is always “it looks fine in the morning”

How it works
- Hours to suit the building. Four hours over the lunch window, or a full eight. Most buildings start at four and go up.
- In uniform, on your floor. Your tenants and visitors see somebody looking after the place, which is half of what you are buying.
- The same person. Not a different face each week. They learn your building and your people.
- With or without a night crew. Most buildings run both: the porter holds the day, the night crew does the deep work. See janitorial services.
Tell us the square footage, how many nights a week you need us and what time the building empties, and we come back with a number for a day porter — no walkthrough fee, no obligation. Call or text 512-350-9727.

How to start your day porter services in Austin
We walk the building
Free, and it takes about twenty minutes. We look at the square footage, the floors, the restrooms and the traffic — the four things that actually set the price.
You get a written scope and a fixed price
Room by room, task by task, with how often each one happens. A fixed monthly number, not an hourly rate that drifts.
The same crew, every visit
Background-checked, insured and in uniform, with one named supervisor who walks the building with you every month.
Why Austin chooses Trustworthy Cleaning
Cleaning buildings across Central Texas since 2004.
Keys and alarms handled properly
A written key and alarm protocol with named people on it, the kind your insurer is comfortable with.
Serving Central Texas since 2004
More than twenty years cleaning in Austin and San Antonio. We know what hard water does to a restroom and what cedar season does to a lobby.
Background-checked, insured crews
Everyone who enters your building has passed a background check. They are employees, not day labor pulled from an app, and we carry general liability and workers' comp.
One supervisor you can call
A named person per account who knows your building, walks it with you every month, and answers the phone after hours.
A written scope that does not drift
Room by room, task by task, with the frequency of each one. It does not change without your signature — which is how most contracts quietly shrink.
The same crew, every visit
They learn the building: which rooms get used, which door sticks, which conference room always needs a reset.
What our clients say
"They did an outstanding job at my barbershop. The chairs, mirrors, and floors are all spotless."
"I was so impressed with their attention to detail on just a standard clean."
"I'm glad I found them because other cleaners I used in Austin I have used in the past would not have gotten it done!"
Day Porter Services questions, answered
What is a day porter, exactly?
One person on site during business hours keeping the building right while people are in it: restroom rounds, the entry and lobby, the break room after lunch, trash before it overflows, and spills handled when they happen instead of the next morning.
Do we still need a night crew if we have a day porter?
Most buildings run both, and they do different jobs. The porter holds the building together through the day; the night crew does the deep work on an empty floor. Smaller buildings sometimes manage with just one — we will tell you honestly which after walking it.
Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?
Yes. Everyone who enters your building has passed a background check, and they are our employees — not day labor pulled from an app. We carry general liability and workers' compensation, and we can send the certificates to your property manager before the first visit.
Do you work after hours or during the business day?
Whichever suits the building. Most offices prefer us after close, when the floor is empty. Buildings with public traffic often want someone visible during the day instead, which is a day porter. We can also combine both.
How do you handle keys, alarm codes and building access?
Under a written protocol, with named people on it — never a key left somewhere for whoever shows up. If your building uses badges, a lockbox or a sign-in desk, we follow that instead. It is the kind of arrangement your insurer is comfortable with.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes, everything: equipment, products and consumables. If you would rather we use a specific product, or stock your own paper and soap, we work with that too — just tell us during the walkthrough.
